Pugin and Gothic Revival
Augustus Pugin was the person that he was the leader figure of the Gothic Style. He became important in the nineteenth century where he gradually replaced the classical styles in popularity. We also can see that the Arts and Crafts movement has the Gothic Revival where this page gives us the brief of the guide of the Gothic style and its influences. The two great rules for design the Pugin defines are the real nature of Gothic where it became the most important influence in the Art and Crafts movement. The principles were that there should be no features about the buildings which they were not convenience and construction or propriety. The other principle was that all the ornaments should consist of essential construction of the building. He used to make  the designs  of the buildings he also designed  furniture and  from  all the architectural practice  he also  started designing and produced stained glass, metalwork, textiles and also jewellery. The Gothic revival that was followed  by Pugin then William Burges and George Edward Street carried out to the  new approach of the  furniture designs and  also taken the responsibility for designing the buildings and its initial fittings  and  furnishing.

The actual wave of realism is swept the art word after Gustave Courbet’s where he made an independent exhibition in 1855. We also see that the realism paintings are intentionally where he inspired with the social and also political. There also realistic painting that immediately captures the everyday scenes of contemporary life.  In the realism painting we see ordinary things such as families’ also unadorned figures also we see objects that become the worthy subject in the painting. Pop art
Pop art is another movement where it began in England in the mid-1950s and also in the United States in the early 1960s. The pop art was focused more in the objects that we use every day which rendered through an adoption of the commercial and also the techniques.  The  pop art  is are  that is  different  from arts  that we  see every day  such  as  it  is  different  from  the  art of Caravaggio it  is  because  the  pop art  is  made  with  a  lot  of bright  colours  in my opinion the most  colour  that  we  can see  in the  pop art  is  yellow.in the  pop art  movement we can  see  that various of colours were  used  some  of  them  were  bright. The pop art is taken from the images and also from the movies, comics  books  , advertising and  also television these is  where  the artist takes  the  idea  to  make  the  pop art.

Eugene Delacroix-Liberty leading the people
This painting is done on the 28th July 1830. The painting is done by Eugene Delacroix and he celebrated the day during the year 1830 revolutions where the people fought for their liberty. This painting has been used for political issues as a poster it was used for the revolution.  The artist put himself into the painting as he is the member of a National Guard. We can see him in the close up picture that I will be going to add. We  also  can  see  that  the  paining  is  based  on the triangular shape as  it  is  the  composition.  As we can also see in the flag that the  women it has the  flag  of France  so that  means  that the revolution was in France.

Realism -Courbet Gustave: The stone breakers
Gustave Courbet is an artist which he worked in the realism period where I choose one of his paintings that he made which is called the stone breakers. This painting was destroyed in the World War II. Many of Courbet paintings are most focused on the everyday people where in this painting that I choose to talk about shows us clearly the two hardworking persons. He also focuses in the places in the daily France life. Because of Courbet’s paintings are most French he became to be known as the leader of the Realistic movement.
The stone Breaker was painted in the 1849 where it shoes us two ordinary peasant workers. The painter Courbet painted this painting without ant sentiment where instead he let the image of the two man where he made them one too young for the hard labor and the other one too old he made this to express his feelings where the feelings is of the hardship and also exhausting. He shows the sympathy for the workers and also disgusts the upper class by panting these two men with the dignity.
