Japanese woodblock printing
The Japanese woodblock printing  is an type  of art that  it  is  done by  doing the curving  on a  piece  of wood by doing curved outlines, simplistic forms as well as doing the detailing of flat areas that contains the colour  The woodblock print has been first used by the Japan in the 8th century to print religious texts. The Buddhist was travelling form china and brought the texts and also the printing method itself to Japan.as we can  see  that  the  first  woodblock prints were made by using only  one colour  of  ink that the ink  that was  used is called Sumi Ink. The world had to wait nearly 900 years so that they can see the first coloured prints to appear. The early colour prints were made of using only a single block and black ink.
