About Alfred Chircop

Alfred Chircop who is a Maltese artist used to attend to the Malta school of art is also  attended to foreign schools such  as the Accademia Pietro Vannucci in Perugia, Bath Academy of Art at Corsham UK and Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome. Through the years Alfred Chircop work has been developed and remarkably weather figurative, or abstract.  He also equally proved variety of techniques and media employed in his drawings, paintings, watercolors, etchings and antiques, linocuts, pen and wash and monoprints.  Alfred Chircop has put up number of exhibitions in Malta and also abroad where his work was a highly acclaimed by foreign critics. Beside the career of an artist he also had a teaching career in Malta. He teaches in various levels of school such as in primary, secondary, and sixth form and also in the faculty of Architecture in Malta where he spent the last years if teaching as a senior lecturer teaching visual education and design
