William Morris
William Morris that is the son of a successful business man was born on the 24th March 1834 in Walthamstow which is a quit village in the east of London. After they invested in a copper mine Morris father was being able to purchase the Woodford hall which is a large estate on the edge of the Epping Forrest in the 1840. Morris was studied and also educated at Marborough and Exeter College. He also went to the Oxford University where he met Edward Burne- Jones and also Dante Gabriel Rossetti.  These are the three men that formed a group that is called the Brotherhood. Their works were inspired by the history, ritual and architecture of the medieval period. William Morris and also Burne-Jones were committed Anglicans and for some time they also talked of taking part in a “crusade and holy warfare” which is against the art and culture of their own times. Where they later become one of the great pre-Raphaelite artists which also reminds the closest friend of Morris.
